Manager, Programmatic Deal Operations
TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Manager, Programmatic Deal Operations who will lead a team of Deal Specialists while managing strategic partnerships. Responsibilities
Manage & Mentor: Lead and develop a team of 3 Programmatic Deal Specialists, ensuring they effectively monitor live deals across PMP and Programmatic Guaranteed channels
Process Excellence: Oversee the team’s daily workflow to ensure flawless campaign execution, timely troubleshooting of under-delivery or creative rejections, and accurate setup
Standardization: Establish and refine best practices for deal monitoring, ensuring the team provides consistent, actionable recommendations to sales regarding optimization tactics and buyer behavior
Reporting Strategy: Supervise the generation and analysis of deal performance reports, identifying macro-trends in buyer behavior to inform broader sales strategies
Key Account Stewardship: Personally manage the operational relationship for a designated set of "Strategic" accounts or large holding company agencies, partnering directly with sellers to drive revenue
Complex Troubleshooting: Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues that require deep investigation into DSP/SSP dynamics, acting as the bridge between Sales, Ad Ops, and technical teams
Revenue Acceleration: Proactively identify opportunities within high-value deals to increase buyer engagement, synthesizing data to propose upsell opportunities or structure changes to the client
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of DSP/SSP platform updates and changes in programmatic trading protocols to ensure the team and sales force are navigating the ecosystem effectively
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, yield management, or digital ad operations, with at least 1–2 years of people management or team lead experience
Strong ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, narrative-driven insights for sales teams and clients
Expert-level proficiency with SSPs (e.g., Magnite, Freewheel) and DSPs (e.g., DV360, TTD), with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex PMP and PG deal setups
Exceptional ability to translate technical ad tech concepts into commercial language for sales partners and external agency clients
Demonstrated ability to coach junior team members, foster a culture of accountability, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
