Associate Engineer - (Power Delivery Open House)

Responsibilities
Apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields
Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects
Works on small projects or portions of larger projects
Supports development of standards and engineering guidelines, conducts analysis on system performance and reliability strategy and provides recommendations
Leverage new technology and Smart Grid solutions to provide superior service to our customers
Exercise project management, negotiations, performance tracking and reporting
Communications, presentations, meetings and support
Participate in all aspects of engineering design, permitting and construction
Work with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements and project costs
Interact with customers that you encounter to ensure award-winning customer service
Apply design skills and utilize design programs to maintain and enhance our electric grid
Works on all aspects of engineering design and permitting
Assists with project management, negotiations, performance tracking and reporting
Acts as a single point of contact for low to complex projects for the department
Assists with policies, training, and support of organization
Prepares communications, presentations and conducts meetings
Assists with research, development, and improvement measures
Meets attendance and storm duty requirements
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (non-Engineering Technology), OR
Master's degree in Engineering, if the bachelor's degree is not in a pure engineering field
At least one degree (Bachelor's or Master's) must be from an ABET-accredited program
Experience: 0+ years
Preferred
Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
Master's Degree
Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
Six Sigma Master Black Belt
