Benefits and Payroll Coordinator
GEx Search is a law firm seeking a Benefits and Payroll Coordinator who will manage accurate payroll processing and administer employee benefit programs. The role involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws while providing responsive support to employees and partnering with HR to improve processes.
Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll using ADP; ensure wage and hour compliance
Manage payroll changes, reconciliations, year-end reporting, and employee inquiries
Administer employee benefits (health, retirement, FSA/HSA, COBRA, leave programs)
Coordinate open enrollment and serve as liaison with benefits vendors
Maintain accurate payroll/benefits data and support audits
Assist with onboarding/offboarding and partner with HR on process improvements
Qualification
Required
3–7 years of payroll and benefits experience (professional services a plus)
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, benefits compliance, and ADP
Detail-oriented with strong communication and confidentiality skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Law firm or professional services experience needed
