Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day AWS cloud platform operations and long-term planning to maintain technologically current, reliable, and cost-effective solutions

Design and deploy AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation and AWS CDK

Manage and maintain Windows production servers and domain controllers running in AWS

Work closely with development and operations teams to meet infrastructure needs

Operate and manage end-user and business applications: user laptops, VDI desktops, BYOD mobile devices, M365 suite, Atlassian suite

Evaluate, respond to, and resolve service issues; design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence

Create and maintain automated monitoring and reporting of cloud infrastructure health, performance, and cost

Continually optimize infrastructure cost

Analyze network needs and contribute to design of network architecture, integration and installation

Work closely with service providers and vendors

Manage contract renewals and optimize spend

Manage the Infrastructure team

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Minimum 4 years of experience in systems, infrastructure, and cloud operations; AWS preferred

Passionate about information technology and eager to learn

Candid, courageous, and willing to speak honestly

Ability to multi-task and change direction easily

Positive, team player attitude and excellent work ethic

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred

AWS Cloud Operations or Solutions Architect certifications

Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Javascript

Experience with GitHub Copilot or other assistive programming tools

Healthcare industry experience

Atlassian administration experience
