Marketing and Communications Coordinator

TAG-Ed is an organization dedicated to strengthening Georgia’s workforce through various educational and professional development initiatives. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will be responsible for driving outreach and engagement by managing social media, creating content, and supporting marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with senior staff to draft and manage the annual communications plan for small non-profit organizations
Create content and manage TAG-Ed social media presence
Manage the TAG-Ed website, including updating content, images, partners, etc. in a timely and efficient manner; manage relationship with website service provider
Write and design TAG-Ed’s monthly e-newsletter
Write forewords for all TAG-Ed’s magazine publications
Maintain contact lists for e-communications
Spearhead digital and print marketing campaigns for major awareness campaigns
Create all marketing collateral, including flyers and brochures, for all TAG-Ed programs
Work directly with all Program Managers to understand their collateral needs
Support overall programmatic operations within the organization as needed

Required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with a diverse audience, from K-12 students to business executives
Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills
Experience with social media content writing and strategy, particularly on LinkedIn
Experience with digital content strategy, including e-communications and digital awareness campaigns
Knowledge of website strategy and design. Experience with WordPress required (Google Analytics is a plus)
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
Ability to contribute to team projects with a 'whatever it takes' attitude and approach
Demonstrated ability to be an initiative-taker, and support a functionally organized, technically oriented environment
Proven ability and willingness to learn new things quickly
Bachelor's Degree required
