Responsibilities
Contribute as an individual contributor within an Agile SDLC team
Develop and maintain applications using C, C++, or Java
Design and implement data engineering solutions including data warehouses, data lakes, and master data management
Write and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple dialects (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle)
Manipulate databases using DML code packages, stored procedures, triggers, and materialized views
Build reports and dashboards using Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI
Integrate systems via SOAP, REST, ETL, and SSIS
Work with Node.js and JSON for data processing and integrations
Develop Airflow DAGs for workflow orchestration
Collaborate on Spark-based solutions (preferred)
Design and implement ETL pipelines in Python from scratch, ensuring efficiency and reusability
Apply data modeling concepts (schemas, entity relationships) to optimize system design
Stay current with cloud-based business applications and tools
Qualification
Required
Expert-level proficiency in C, C++, or Java
Deep knowledge of RDBMS concepts and data engineering
Strong SQL expertise across multiple dialects
Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines, SSIS, Python scripting
Experience with reporting tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
Familiarity with Airflow DAGs and Spark
Strong understanding of data modeling and system integration
Ability to work independently and deliver efficient, reusable code
Preferred
