Information Technology Help Desk
Responsibilities
Provides entry-level IT Help Desk support within a Service Desk environment
Begins with a structured training period, followed by placement into a shift based on business needs and staffing requirements
Qualification
Required
Associate degree strongly preferred; candidates with substantial technical support experience may be considered
Relevant experience may include: Desktop/Client Support (Windows PCs, laptops, MacBooks, servers, imaging services)
Retail or device support (registers, pin pads, handheld devices)
Basic user and application support (password resets via Active Directory, MFA, VPN connectivity)
Strong customer service skills, including clear written and verbal communication, the ability to de-escalate issues, and professionalism under pressure
Experience using ticketing systems
Ability to write technical documentation and support reports
Broad knowledge of operating systems, application software, desktop and laptop hardware, printers, and basic networking concepts
