Responsibilities
Partners with program and project managers to represent Quality in all aspects
Serves as a local expert in quality-related tasks during new product development
Applies robust quality analysis tools to identify risks and complexity and how to manage and reduce them
Develops and presents quality requirements plans to ensure all parties involved understand the requirements
Works with engineering and manufacturing to ensure the quality impacts of an engineering change meet all the requirements
Identifies areas for continuous improvement that can be driven into new products, existing products, and custom components
Collaborates with other Quality disciplines to ensure all programs and projects meet their needs for conducting
Other Quality tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
8+ years of experience with deliverables and tasks as part of New Product Development
Preferred
Advanced Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience with quality deliverables as part of New Product Development
5+ years of relevant experience with manufacturing processes
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office and Project
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work across all levels and functions
Experience managing projects
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
Experience reviewing engineering changes
Self-direction and organization skills to ensure quality deliverables are properly managed
PMP is a plus
