Employee Relations Program Manager_HR

Ecore Athletic is seeking an Employee Relations Program Manager who will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, productive, and legally compliant workplace environment. This role involves providing guidance on employee relations issues, managing investigations, and driving initiatives to enhance the employee experience and organizational culture.

Responsibilities

The role is the primary lead for disciplinary actions, corrective actions, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), and dispute resolution
Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, including complaints, conduct issues, harassment, discrimination, performance issues, and policy violations
Conduct thorough, objective investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies, procedures, and disciplinary practices
Serve as a resource for leaders on proper documentation, performance management, and policy application
Partner with leadership to promote a positive work environment aligned with company values
Identify root causes of employee morale or cultural challenges and develop strategies for improvement
Support engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and communication strategies
Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and managers on employee relations best practices
Train leaders on performance management, conflict resolution, attendance management, and respectful workplace practices
Collaborate with HR team members to ensure consistent HR support across shifts and departments
Track employee relations trends and provide insights to HR leadership and operations leaders
Use data to identify risks and opportunities and drive continuous improvement within the workforce
Monitoring changes in employment law and translating changes into policy, guidance, and practice
Partnering with legal and HR leadership to mitigate employee relations risk
Supporting the HR queue with escalated employee relations issues
Development of compliant and market relevant job descriptions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field
5+ years of progressive HR or employee relations experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial operations environment
Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
Demonstrated experience conducting investigations and resolving complex workplace issues
Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills
Demonstrated expertise in investigations, disciplinary action, corrective action, and dispute resolution
Using risk/compliance management systems to track and mitigate exposure
Formal training in workplace investigations
Proven success managing high-risk employee relations matters, across multiple states

Preferred

Experience in a unionized environment (if relevant)
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP/SCP)
