Responsibilities

Build electrical and mechanical test samples for engineering teams involving refrigerant and coolant systems
Troubleshoot electronics subsystem firmware/hardware issues
Run tests and record test data
Build and repair LV and HV wire harnesses and cables
Assist with testing at in-house or local contract laboratories
Build/repair temporary grid connected and islanded microgrids for testing
Construct and debug test fixtures

Qualification

Required

Minimum 3 years' experience in R&D electronics environment
Strong understanding of engineering and reliability fundamentals
Machine shop and electrical prototyping skills
Great mechanical fabrication and soldering skills
Highly knowledgeable in HV/LV electronic systems
Strong troubleshooting skills to the component level on electronic modules

Preferred

Experience with HV battery systems highly desired
