IT and Cabling Project Coordinator
Premier Networx is a dynamic managed service provider specializing in proactive IT support for SMB clients. The Project Coordinator will lead and manage cabling and IT projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, remain on schedule, and stay within budget.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage cabling and IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Scope, quote, and bid on potential new projects and business
Provide leadership, coaching, and training to the project team and field technicians
Coordinate with internal and external resources, including subcontractors, vendors, and third-party contractors, to ensure project success
Ensure compliance with local, state, and OSHA standards, ensuring a safe work environment
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction and to resolve any project issues
Act as the main point of contact between the company, clients, vendors, and contractors, keeping all parties informed throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare and present project updates to relevant management channels, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and risks
Update the ticketing system with detailed documentation and time entries for tasks and cases
Maintain accountability for 9 working hours per day, ensuring timesheets are submitted on time, including during PTO or holidays
Regularly update calendar availability and use the dispatch calendar to allocate time for tasks and inform the team of your availability
Ensure all time entries are recorded by the end of the business day
Use PSA software to track progress and milestones, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and risks are identified early
Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards and best practices
Report project risks and outcomes to management and escalate issues as needed
Deepen partnerships with outside resources and manage the flow of communication between all project stakeholders
Ensure the final documentation includes photos, checklists, and any necessary videos of the completed projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
At least 3 years of experience in the IT field, with at least 1 year in low voltage cabling project management
Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive project success
Experience with PSA systems (e.g., ConnectWise Manage) or equivalent ticketing systems
Strong understanding of budgets, scheduling, and resource allocation
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to handle fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities
Strong attention to detail, professional attitude, and outstanding customer service skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
Project Management certification (PMP or similar) is strongly preferred
