Lumpkin Industries Inc is a reputable company specializing in hydraulic hose repair services. They are seeking an upbeat and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to perform on-site hose repairs, maintain equipment, and provide excellent customer service.

Machinery

Responsibilities

Removal, Identification, Fabrication, and Installation of hydraulic and like hoses
Cranking and testing equipment
Provide after hour on-call assistance. 4-6 days a week. Every 5th to 6th week rotation
Evaluate the condition of equipment and recognition of any other potential hose failure
Check and fill hydraulic oil where required
Deliver hose and other products
Maintain clean, well-running work truck, inventory, and tools provided
Communicate cause and correction to customer
Provide copy of on-site service order to customer
Collect payment from customers where required and assist in collections of past due accounts
Maintain current accounts with regular visits and correspondence
Generate new business through sales calls and provide records thereof
Keep a daily log and DOT checklist
Assist in training new employees

Qualification
