Senior Business Development Manager

Responsibilities
Drives revenue growth by developing and executing strategic account plans to drive business growth and meet revenue targets
Serves as the primary point of customer contact to manage relationships and ensure timely, satisfactory resolution of customer issues in coordination with internal teams and suppliers
Serves as the main driver for proposal development, including ensuring parcel system layout and components meet customer requirements
Collaborates with internal departments including PMO, B&P, Engineering, and Service to deliver comprehensive parcel automation solutions
Identifies new business opportunities and maintains a robust sales pipeline
Conducts strategic market research, emerging industry trends and fully understands customer needs to develop targeted solutions
Builds customer roadmaps and long-term strategies aligned with mutual business goals
Maintains accurate recordings in CRM systems and provides regular updates and forecasts
Partners with project managers to strategically align staffing with project needs and ensure successful execution of projects
Ensure that all sales data and reporting responsibilities are managed within the expected deadlines
Act as a strategic interface between customers and internal engineering, proposal, and execution teams to align technical scope, risk profile, and commercial approach
Lead the preparation of strategic presentations, white papers, and capability documents for customers
Assess risks, anticipate challenges, and provide escalation management when necessary
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management abilities
Strong knowledge of parcel sortation processing systems, requirements, and technologies
Deep operational knowledge of package processing facilities
Ability to oversee, review, or develop parcel system layouts
Proven leadership and team collaboration skills
Strategic thinking with a track record of developing and executing account growth plans
Ability to function well in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Strong negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Experience working in collaborative environments with diverse functional stakeholders
Effective communicator with ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Minimum of 10+ years of parcel automation business development, and/or parcel systems sales engineering
Proven experience managing customer accounts and driving strategic growth initiatives
Requires a self-motivated, self-directed, and well-connected individual who can contribute strategically to the company's growth in the U.S. market and to identify and maximize opportunities
Demonstrated ability to independently originate, develop, and close project opportunities from concept to award
Eligible applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred
MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
