Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, proper stock levels, conduct team meetings
Supervise team members, onboarding, scheduling, performance
Provide outstanding service, product recommendations, & cooking tips
Drive awareness and foot traffic through advertising, in-store promotions, and social media campaigns
Ensure all meats meet high standards, conduct routine inspections, keep detailed records
Prepare budgets, forecast sales, and analyze performance to maximize profitability. Utilize the grocery matrix to ensure profitability
Maintain an attractive, clean, and well-organized meat case, verify proper product rotation
Relationships with local farms and regional suppliers, community outreach to promote goodwill and bolster brand loyalty
Qualification
Required
Strong leadership skills
In-depth product knowledge
Commitment to high standards across all areas of the business
Proficiency in Excel
Knowledge of POS systems
Experience with quarterly reports
Proven leadership and management experience in retail, hospitality, or food processing
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards
Exceptional customer service skills

Proficiency in inventory management

Ability to stand for long periods
