Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret systems, component, and subsystem specifications for powertrain systems
Collaborate with engineering teams across organizations to align on performance targets, interfaces, and technical dependencies
Draft technical requirements for components and subsystems and drive alignment with cross‑functional stakeholders
Support powertrain integration activities which include testing, data analysis, issue tracking, and system behavior evaluation
Learn and apply PACCAR’s Product Creation Process (PCP) and contribute to program tollgate

Qualification

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (graduation expected December 2026 – June 2028)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a foundational understanding of automotive systems and subsystems (e.g., engines, transmissions, driveline, cooling systems)
Familiarity with engineering tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or CAN analysis tools
Strong communication skills, including the ability to write clear technical documentation and present engineering concepts
