Responsibilities
Manage and maintain all databases supporting the EFS modernization project
Support database migration and ongoing maintenance of the Enhanced Field System (EFS)
Maintain and update the DEL website Parent Portal as needed
Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with regulatory standards
Participate in project meetings, stakeholder calls, and technical discussions
Produce monthly status reports outlining progress and upcoming activities
Communicate effectively with technical teams, leadership, and state/federal stakeholders
Identify risks, resolve technical obstacles, and assist with contingency planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of experience in database design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and support across multiple platforms
8+ years of hands-on experience writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
5+ years of experience with MS SQL Server and SSRS (parameters, sub-reports, drill-downs, subscriptions)
3+ years of experience creating and maintaining reports using Azure Power BI
3+ years of experience working with web applications
2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio .NET, and Azure SQL Managed Instance
Strong experience with backup/recovery strategies, database performance tuning, and data security standards
Proven ability to produce technical documentation (requirements, designs, test plans, traceability matrices)
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government implementations
