Responsibilities
Manage a team of 2 (Senior Revenue Accountant + Analyst) and oversee technical revenue operations
Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition, contract reviews, and judgments across diverse business lines (SaaS, services, data, group purchasing, fintech)
Support purchase accounting and integration for recent and future acquisitions
Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and GAAP/IFRS
Drive process improvements and automation in revenue workflows
Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations on deal structuring and revenue analysis
Prepare revenue-related disclosures and support audit and compliance activities
Contribute to month-end close and financial reporting related to revenue
Qualification
Required
7+ years in revenue accounting with strong technical ASC 606 expertise
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Deep ASC 606 knowledge
Strong US GAAP and revenue recognition standards
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders
Driven, strategic, and thrives in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment
Local to the Boston area for hybrid work (3 days/week onsite)
Preferred
CPA preferred
Public/private mix preferred (open to strong public profiles)
Cap software and M&A experience a plus
NetSuite/Salesforce proficiency preferred
International revenue a plus
