Responsibilities
Support incident investigations, case management, and colleague EH&S training (orientation, toolbox meetings, monthly training)
Foster strong relationships with colleagues and encourage active participation in EH&S programs
Conduct plant inspections, issue permits, and assist in developing JSAs and procedures
Manage and update plant EH&S programs and SOPs
Apply A2E principles in daily tasks
Use Sphera & ERL systems to enter incidents, track training, and analyze data
Collaborate on improving procedures and physical conditions
Participate in EH&S committees and PE Safety Pillar Teams
Present a project overview to a cross-functional team at the end of the internship
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a four-year degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or a related field with an expected graduation between December 2026 and Summer 2028
Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA
Interns must have their own reliable transportation to and from work
Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations in North America
Successful completion of a background check is required
This experience is physically demanding, and suited for those who desire hands-on experience in an operations setting
Some tasks may require lifting, the ability to climb ladders, and working in confined spaces (including tanks and vessels)
Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2026
Work Authorization visa sponsorship is not available for this role
