Responsibilities
Assist Advisor by managing and overseeing the flow of business throughout the sale cycle
Review insurance applications, conversions, and policy changes for completeness and accuracy
Manage the medical examination process and expedite outstanding underwriting requirements
Monitor Daily Status Report; expedite any additional underwriting requirements
Prepare/print letters of instruction for client signature; prepare policies for delivery
Run insurance illustrations and in-force ledgers
Enter and maintain client and policy data in CRM; documenting case notes, and proactively follow upon pipeline of pending new business
Contact clients and process service requests: late payments, address changes, bank change information, loan requests and ISA service inquiries
Perform clerical/administrative activities i.e. filing documentation to case files, photocopying documents, reports, and tracking
Calendar management, confirming and scheduling client meetings
Additional projects, as requested by Financial Advisor
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of professional experience, preferably in the insurance industry
Proficient knowledge of MS applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
High sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Highly developed degree of personal organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
California Life and Health insurance license preferred, or willingness to acquire
