KIP Summer 2026 - Communications Intern - Taxpayers Protection Alliance Foundation
Stand Together is offering a paid, 12-week Koch Internship Program (KIP) for candidates interested in gaining professional experience at non-profits across the U.S. The role involves working with the Taxpayers Protection Alliance Foundation's communications team, focusing on social media content, press releases, and promoting the organization's brand.

Responsibilities
Drafting creative social media content for the organization’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube accounts, including rapid response content for breaking news and curating videos
Assisting the Communications Director as needed with press releases and media advisories
Updating press contacts for the organization, making sure state and national broadcast and print pitching lists are accurate and complete
Advising team on up-and-coming social media trends to populate into algorithms and maximize impressions
Attending various events in Washington, D.C. to promote the TPAF brand and assist with live-tweeting
Qualification
Required
Candidates should have an interest in economic and regulatory policy areas now being debated in Congress and within the executive branch
Strong commitment to free-market economics and limited government
Strong writing skills
Must be available every Thursday from 1-4:00 PM ET for virtual professional development training
Must attend the in-person summit at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, VA June 3-4
Geographically located within the U.S
Authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program
Preferred
Previous experience in digital media is preferred but not required
