Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of PHP-based applications and APIs, integrating with credit card processors and financial services platforms (e.g., TSYS, Fiserv)
Architect and implement data solutions for large-scale analytics, ML, and AI workloads using Databricks, PySpark/Spark, Delta Lake, and distributed compute systems
Design and optimize Snowflake data models, ingestion pipelines, and performance scaling strategies
Build end-to-end data pipelines supporting feature engineering, model scoring, and advanced analytics in complex, regulated environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards, particularly in Azure environments
Provide technical leadership and thought guidance on data architecture, cloud strategies, and analytics platform best practices
Qualification
Required
10+ years of PHP development experience, including API design and integrations
Proven experience integrating with credit card processors or banking systems (TSYS, Fiserv, or similar)
Strong understanding of banking system architectures and core banking integration patterns
7–10+ years of experience in data architecture, platform engineering, or large-scale analytics systems
Deep expertise with Databricks, PySpark/Spark, Delta Lake, and distributed compute architectures
Strong knowledge of Snowflake, including data modeling, ingestion patterns, and performance scaling
Hands-on experience designing data architectures to support ML workloads, feature engineering, and model scoring
Solid understanding of Azure cloud platform, IAM, and enterprise security practices
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and business stakeholders
Preferred
Prior experience in regulated financial services or banking environments
Exposure to additional cloud platforms or modern data tools
Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams
