Responsibilities
Prepare and review invoices for agency fees, media purchases, production costs, and project-based work
Verify billing details against client contracts, approved estimates, scopes of work, and rate cards
Collaborate with account management and media teams to confirm billable hours, expenses, media costs, and commission structures
Address client billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Monitor work-in-progress and ensure adherence to scheduled billing cycles
Execute billing processes for recurring fees, project-based charges, and active campaigns
Maintain accurate records and documentation within the accounting system
Assist in month-end closing activities and support revenue recognition procedures
Participate in audit preparation by providing necessary billing documentation
Ensure compliance with both internal policies and client-specific billing requirements
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or finance, preferably within an agency or detail-oriented services environment
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and Teams applications
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with accounting and billing software; experience with Advantage or Media Ocean is a plus
Understanding of media billing practices, pass-through costs, and third-party vendor invoicing processes
