Technical Program Manager III, Platform and Factory Software, Google Beam

Responsibilities
Bring software development to the Beam hardware organization and lead software release processes, timelines, and deadlines
Drive clarity, understanding, and ownership on interdependent software feature development that requires coordination between hardware and software teams
Own the management of OS and library software development, coordinating with engineering, and other cross-functional leads to ensure a stable code
Manage factory software release and validation, working with external partners, factory leads and system technical program managers
Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program management
Experience in embedded software development (e.g., low-level software, firmware)
Experience in the development of factory validation software (FVS)
Preferred
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience managing the development and integration of high-performance Audio and Video (A/V) processing pipelines for consumer electronics or specialized hardware
Experience managing strategic vendors and partners, including aligning roadmaps, managing technical dependencies, and negotiating delivery milestones
Experience in bridging gaps between engineering disciplines
