Systems Engineer Senior Manager

Responsibilities
Responsible for the system engineering effort on a multi-year development program
Working in close collaboration with the Program Manager, Program Chief Engineer, Space Vehicle and Payload IPT Leads, and program leadership
Responsible for technical direction, planning, staffing, interfacing with LM senior management, customers, subcontractors, partners and suppliers, and integration and coordination with all functional organizations involved in system design, integration, assembly, test and delivery
Qualification
Required
Experience as Chief System Engineer through the entire lifecycle of a development program
Experience in a formal leadership role
Development program management experience
Recognized as an authority in the implementation of System Engineering processes and command media, with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of sophisticated problems and train others in their application
Experience with of system-level considerations for multi-vehicle architectures and high-performance RF systems for space applications
Experience implementing Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) on a development program
Experience with Systems Engineering principles and processes, and their application to complex space architectures through the entire life cycle
Experienced or familiar with technology obsolescence management
Active or Current SCI access
