Responsibilities
Oversee month‑end close, reporting, financial controls, and process improvements
Mentor and develop the accounting team, including guiding staff into more senior roles
Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital needs, and financial risk assessment
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational analysis for a multi‑product, multi‑location business
Partner closely with the executive team to support decision‑making and long‑range planning
Support system upgrades, ERP optimization, and enhancements to reporting capabilities
Provide financial leadership for growth initiatives, including potential acquisitions
Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all finance and accounting functions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
Strong background in full cycle general ledger accounting, cost accounting, forecasting and budgeting
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to both oversee and execute financial processes
Proven ability to develop and mentor accounting and finance teams
ERP experience and comfort working in fast-paced, growing environments
Excellent communication skills, strong analytical ability, and a collaborative approach
Stable career history and demonstrated long-term commitment to previous organizations
Preferred
Experience within industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or similar environments
