Responsibilities
First point of customer contact regarding repair
Open work orders as directed and maintain control until closed and invoiced
Generate formal repair quotes for various bid jobs
Answer incoming customer calls, concerning incoming repairs, giving status updates on work orders, and explaining options available for repair or replacement
Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing all the customers concerns
Account for all material to be used in work order projects
Monitor back orders and machine work for timely repairs and meeting customer requirement dates
Notify shop of approved repair or replacement
Follow all guidelines set up in the service department
Coordinate with the shipping department for timely return of completed repairs and replacements
Operate forklift and/or hoist to unload or load customer's equipment to be worked on
Additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft products
Strong organizational, time management and critical thinking skills
Excellent email and phone etiquette, communication skills and customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and be safety minded
Ability to lift 50 LBS
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Driver's License (Required)

2-year technical degree
Mechanical or electrical aptitude or related experience
