Responsibilities

Serve as the technical lead and solution architect for all Salesforce initiatives across Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom-built applications
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices
Lead architectural reviews, integration design sessions, and code quality assurance processes across internal and third-party development teams
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop prototypes, and deliver innovative CRM solutions that drive business value
Drive the ongoing development and optimization of the Salesforce ecosystem, including custom objects, flows, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components
Manage, mentor, and support developers and admins (onshore employees and offshore vendors)
Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT) to integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems and data platforms
Support incident management, release management, and performance monitoring processes for the Salesforce platform
Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with security and privacy standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
Stay current on Salesforce product releases, features, and roadmap updates to inform strategic decisions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in a Salesforce Architect or Technical Lead role
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, development lifecycle, and best practices
Proven expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative platform tools (e.g., Flows, Process Builder)
Experience with complex integrations using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and data transformation tools
Strong knowledge of Salesforce security models, sharing rules, and data visibility architecture
Salesforce certifications required: Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect; Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) strongly preferred
Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience with Revenue Cloud (CPQ particularly), Field Service Lightning (FSL), Experience Cloud, Certinia project management
Experience in utilities, field service, or asset management industries is a plus
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git)
Knowledge of data governance and master data management principles
Prior consulting or enterprise transformation experience is advantageous
