Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation: Own top-of-funnel pipeline creation by identifying and engaging prospective customers through outbound channels including cold email, cold calling, LinkedIn, and targeted campaigns
Inbound Qualification: Respond to and qualify inbound leads from marketing, ensuring timely follow-up and thoughtful discovery to assess fit and readiness
Prospect Research: Research accounts and contacts to personalize outreach and tailor messaging to specific industries, roles, and pain points
Discovery & Qualification: Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospect needs, challenges, and buying intent, and determine qualification against ICP criteria
Meeting Setting: Schedule high-quality discovery meetings for Account Executives and ensure smooth handoffs with clear context and notes
CRM Hygiene: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM, tracking outreach activity, lead status, and qualification details
Messaging & Playbooks: Contribute to the development and refinement of outreach messaging, talk tracks, and sales playbooks based on what resonates in the market
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to align on target accounts, campaigns, and feedback loops
Market Feedback: Share insights from conversations with prospects—common objections, competitor mentions, and emerging themes—with the broader GTM team

Required

1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or a customer-facing role in SaaS or B2B technology (or equivalent hustle and aptitude)
Strong analytical mindset and comfort with data, KPIs, and funnel optimization
You are relentless in pursuit of new business and comfortable with outbound prospecting
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you can simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical buyers
You crave feedback, learn quickly from losses, and constantly iterate on your pitch
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where the playbook is still being written and are comfortable with ambiguity
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
