Responsibilities
Developing control logic in DCS/PLC systems based on SAMA sheets and control narratives (Preference for Function Block Diagram programming experience)
Developing HMI/SCADA graphics based on P&IDs and graphic specifications
Preparing control test cases/instructions and performing logic & graphics testing
Reviewing functional requirements and generating:
System Design Specifications
Technical reports
Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Capturing functional requirements from design documentation
System Engineering and Cabinet Engineering
DCS hardware engineering including:
Design, installation, and maintenance of controllers and I/O modules
Network configuration and hardware troubleshooting
Creation of macros, control logic sheets, and HMI screens
Development of test procedures and execution of:
Engineering testing
CTE testing
Functional testing
Preparation of test reports demonstrating compliance with functional requirements
Ability to study and modify:
Control Narratives
Functional Logic Diagrams
Cause & Effect Diagrams
Qualification
Required
PLC Development (Mandatory)
SCADA Development or HMI
Control logic & function development
Code development
System design documentation
Functional & system testing
5–10 years of experience in developing control logic in DCS/PLC systems based on SAMA sheets and control narratives
Preference for Function Block Diagram programming experience
Developing HMI/SCADA graphics based on P&IDs and graphic specifications
Preparing control test cases/instructions and performing logic & graphics testing
