Responsibilities

Fulfill cross-department requests for lists and datasets by writing, updating, and optimizing SQL queries against core databases
Convert recurring ad-hoc list pulls into standardized queries, views, and reporting datasets with guidance and established standards
Help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting, segmentation, and data workflows
Build, update, and maintain Power BI reports and datasets using existing data models and best practices
Maintain shared datasets and tools that support self-service reporting for non-technical users
Create and maintain refreshable Excel outputs (Power Query / connected workbooks) to support spreadsheet-based workflows
Assist with business and industry analysis by preparing data, visuals, and summaries for leadership and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with Industry Intelligence and internal teams to support reporting needs, projects, and ongoing initiatives
Use AI-assisted tools to support data analysis, insight summaries, and draft narratives, with review and oversight

Qualification

Required

Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, optimization, and reusable views and datasets
Experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and maintaining dashboards
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, refreshable data connections)
Experience delivering business-facing analysis, with exposure to leadership-level reporting
Ability to connect data outputs to real business and industry questions
Strong written and verbal communication skills for non-technical audiences
High attention to data accuracy, consistency, and documentation
Practical experience using AI tools to support analysis, insight synthesis, and reporting efficiency
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in BI, SQL reporting, analytics, or business analysis roles
Equivalent hands‑on experience may substitute for formal education

Preferred

Experience supporting reporting from enterprise SQL databases used as systems of record (AMS, CRM, ERP, or similar)
Experience building self‑service list or segmentation tools for non‑technical users
Familiarity with SQL Server operational concepts related to reporting workloads
