Responsibilities
Develop pricing models and conduct pricing analysis using financial models, competitive research, and historical performance data
Balance customer value, product demand, and business objectives to optimize revenue and margin
Perform account-based analyses on competitive cost, price trends, and historical bid price points for specific proposals or subaccounts
Review proposal team inputs to ensure compliance with government regulations, internal company policies, and solicitation requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Contracts, Program Management Office (PMO), Compliance, or HR, on specific proposals and portfolio processes
Interface with client and internal auditors and provide audit support to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology, and applicability under appropriate company regulations
Create and maintain pricing tools, dashboards, and reports
Advise on pre-contract discussions and negotiations of contract awards, as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
2-4 years of experience with pricing, financial analysis, revenue management, or similar analytical role
Experience with pricing, including pricing strategies, structures, tools, and communications
Strong analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of pricing concepts and financial modeling
Proficiency in Excel and experience with Microsoft Suite
Ability to develop and deliver price strategy presentations or analyses
Ability to communicate solicitation requirements
Preferred
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
