Responsibilities
Own the product roadmap and strategy
Make clear tradeoffs between scope, timeline, usability, and feasibility
Continuously refine priorities as customer needs evolve
Drive direct customer discovery through interviews and field observation
Personally operate the product
Translate real user behavior into actionable insights
Triage and prioritize customer feedback with engineering and sales
Provide clear, implementable product requirements
Validate product quality and release readiness
Create or guide UI/UX mockups and workflows
Ensure usability in high-stress operational environments
Act as authority on product behavior
Define success metrics tied to operational value
Track performance and adoption
Navigate defense acquisition and security constraints
Balance ideal design with deployment realities
Qualification
Required
Domain experience in U.S. ground combat
Hands-on product mindset
Comfort with rapid iteration and imperfect information
Ability to write clear, implementable and testable requirements
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
This position will require access to restricted information and facilities protected under U.S. laws and regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. Citizenship to meet federal government security screening requirements required for this role. The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and otherwise eligible to obtain access to classified information and facilities necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position
