Cleared Senior Systems Engineer
General Atomics Integrated Intelligence, Inc. (GA Intelligence) provides custom software development and innovative information engineering solutions to customers in government and private industry. They are seeking Cleared Senior Systems Engineers to develop and support deployment of tracking systems, analyze system requirements, and ensure compliance with industry standards while leveraging cutting-edge technology to process data.

Responsibilities
Develop and support deployment of tracking systems that meet software compliance standards
Gather, analyze, and define system requirements from stakeholders
Allocate and decompose high-level requirements to lower-level specifications and design documents
Create detailed design of all system components and their functions for current and new tracking applications
Define interfaces between internal software components and external systems
Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and interface specifications
Participate in integration activities to ensure that all system components work together as intended
Participate in the development, integration, and testing of system components
Manage and control changes to software, documentation, and integrated components
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, processes, and guidelines
Represent the organization as a contact with internal and external representatives
Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Learn how GA-I3 performs object tracking in Optix and related products
Learn how to deploy and use GA-I3's Optix and related products
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline such as, but not limited to, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Data Science—candidates without a degree but with relevant technical or military experience are also encouraged to apply
At least three years of experience working in a technical position
Proficiency in one or more high-level programming language such as: Python, C++, Java, Scala, Kotlin, R, Julia, Matlab, Rust
Experience with Model-Based System Engineering software such as Cameo
Creating SysML (or equivalent) diagrams to describe system design and function
Knowledge of formal software engineering principles such as, but not limited to, design, documentation, ticketing systems, version control and Agile methodologies
Knowledge of formal system engineering principles such as, but not limited to, requirement analysis, system design, verification & validation, and interface design
Preferred
Experience with the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense
Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools such as the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence) or Gitlab
Experience with the Linux command line interface
Experience with geospatial data products and mapping tools
Experience designing or programming object tracking systems
Knowledge of cloud system management and deployment architecture such as Amazon Web Service
Knowledge of state estimation techniques such as Kalman filtering
