Responsibilities
Lead and deliver the global technical and reliability strategy
Own technical governance, standards, and best-practice implementation
Lead the Central Technical / Centre of Excellence team
Act as senior technical interface with the client and key stakeholders
Ensure plant availability, resilience, and SLA performance across all sites
Lead incident response, RCA, and emergency preparedness
Oversee technical compliance, audits, statutory obligations, and safety
Support capital planning, design reviews, vendor performance, and cost optimisation
Drive continuous improvement across operations, systems, and processes
Qualification
Required
Proven senior leadership background in technical operations or reliability
Engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls)
Strong understanding of redundancy, resilience, and operational risk
Confident working at board, client, and operational levels
Commercially and contractually astute with excellent communication skills
Preferred
Experience in critical environments (data centres preferred)
