Start in 2026 SummerStand Together is offering a Koch Internship Program that provides meaningful work experience at non-profits across the U.S. The Financial Accountability Research Intern will assist financial experts at the California Policy Center in researching state and local government finances, focusing on issues related to taxes, spending, and government debt.

Assist financial experts preparing both short articles and longer studies dealing with issues involving taxes, spending, and government debt
Qualification
Required
Eligible candidates will be geographically located within the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program
Interns must be available every Thursday from 1-4:00 PM ET for virtual professional development training
Interns must attend the in-person summit at Stand Together's Headquarters in Arlington, VA June 3-4
CPC is seeking economics, accounting, or business students (or students with other majors who like numbers) to research state and local government finances in California
Submit a cover letter detailing your interest in public policy and the work of California Policy Center with your application
