Senior LevelMedSys Group is a large healthcare system seeking an IT Network Enterprise Architect to drive thought leadership and architectural design for major enterprise network initiatives. The role focuses on designing scalable, redundant, high-availability networks and providing guidance on network security strategy while collaborating with executive leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Lead architectural design for major network initiatives across a large enterprise environment
Design scalable, redundant, high-availability network solutions (multi-site / distributed)
Provide guidance on network security strategy and best-practice alignment
Support enterprise network segmentation and secure connectivity patterns
Drive SD-WAN and firewall architecture decisions in collaboration with security teams
Architect WLAN solutions for multi-floor, high-density environments (controller management, wireless management)
Design private connectivity and redundancy strategies to ensure resiliency and uptime
Support automation and scripting efforts to improve network operations and standardization
Utilize monitoring and analysis tools for performance management, troubleshooting, and deep packet inspection
Qualification
Required
Enterprise network architecture experience supporting complex, multi-site environments
Advanced routing and switching expertise, including BGP and OSPF
Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 and core/distribution architecture experience
Experience with enterprise network segmentation
SD-WAN and firewalling experience
WLAN design and controller management for high-density environments
Experience designing private connectivity and redundancy/resiliency models
Experience with automation/scripting (network operations and standardization)
Monitoring and traffic analysis experience with tools such as SolarWinds, Elastic, NetScout (or similar), including deep packet inspection
Preferred
Healthcare enterprise environment experience (clinical + administrative systems exposure is a plus)
Experience partnering with executive leadership and leading large, complex initiatives
