Data Analyst Intern
Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is a leader in mobile technologies and consumer electronics, and they are seeking a Data Analyst Intern for their Summer 2026 Intern Program. This role offers hands-on experience in optimizing supply chain operations, analyzing data, and supporting strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency across the supply chain.

Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to improve operational efficiency
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
Support inventory management processes, including forecasting, procurement, and distribution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination across departments
Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics and key insights
Assist in the evaluation of suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
Participate in process improvement projects to streamline supply chain operations
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau)
Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as procurement, inventory management, and logistics
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
Industry knowledge of supply chain management practices and trends
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Possess U.S. work authorization
Be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule
Be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement
Preferred
Knowledge of supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
