Responsibilities
Handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, managing liability accounts, vendor updates and expense/income recognition as applicable, via Quickbooks Online
Maintaining accurate chart of accounts as necessary for small business customers
Ensuring the smooth operation of accounting software, transaction categorization, balance sheet accounts and support the Customer Success Manager in providing the highest quality accounting and tax services
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Bookkeeping and preparing Financial Statements
Experience with Quickbooks Online, Ramp, AMEX, Gusto, ADP, Paylocity & QBO Payroll
Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and Invoice/Payment Reconciliation
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred
Previous experience in small business accounting is a plus
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
