Responsibilities
Lead estimating efforts for industrial and commercial projects from conceptual through GMP/final pricing
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing based on drawings, specifications, and design narratives
Develop subcontractor and vendor bid packages; solicit, evaluate, and level bids
Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Collaborate with project teams on constructability reviews, schedules, and logistics planning
Support preconstruction-to-operations handoff
Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases
Participate in client presentations, interviews, and proposal development as needed
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes
Qualification
Required
8+ years of estimating experience in industrial and/or commercial construction
Proven experience leading estimates on large, complex projects
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and materials
Proficiency with estimating tools such as Sage, Destini, OST, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience with data centers, mission-critical, or high-tech industrial facilities
Previous experience as a Senior or Lead Estimator
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Design-build and negotiated project experience
