Responsibilities
Provide customer service to building tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, coordinating emergency response activities
Receive and prioritize incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and/or access control notifications; dispatch officers to locations across the property and track status until resolution
Monitor CCTV, alarm panels, and other building systems for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access by promptly communicating observations to on-site personnel and/or property management
Document incidents, dispatch actions, and shift activity in written logs and reports; escalate critical situations to management and/or first responders as required by post orders
Support regular and random patrol coverage by coordinating patrol assignments, conducting welfare checks via radio, and routing requests for assistance around the business and perimeter
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
