Responsibilities
Work as part of a global support team
Develop system instrumentation, monitoring and reporting tools
Work with internal businesses to identify and resolve issues
The provision of extremely high levels of availability for the production, demonstration and test systems
Resolve of any problems in these systems in a timely and professional manner
Proactively learn and understand business needs and develop or implement solutions
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting an existing large system to very high levels of availability, ideally financial and/or trading systems
Working on existing internal systems
The team works very closely, and it is a high-pressure mission critical production environment
Strong communication skills
In this role you will be required to be flexible regarding work schedule, including occasional weekend duties
3 or more years of object-oriented development experience (ideally C++)
Relational Database experience
Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred)
3-5 years' work experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry
Proven ability to problem solves and multi-task
Preferred
A working knowledge of the fixed income market is preferred
