Responsibilities
Perform time studies, test cuts, and machine demonstrations (in-house and at customer sites)
Program complex multi-axis (5-axis) applications using modern CAM systems
Review and assess technical feasibility for RFQs and turnkey machining projects
Develop and optimize advanced machining processes for complex, high-precision parts
Provide applications support both internally and directly at customer facilities
Support technical sales activities at trade shows, open houses, and customer events
Conduct customer production analysis, applications training, and process improvement support
Contribute to continuous improvement and other technical initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
8–10+ years of experience in machining, CNC programming, and process development for complex parts
Deep, practical expertise in 5-axis machining
Strong control knowledge of Heidenhain and/or Siemens (or other programming experience)
Comfortable engaging directly with customers in both technical and consultative discussions
Excellent written and spoken English
Team-oriented mindset with a high standard for performance and professionalism
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including internationally
Greater Milwaukee area; candidates located near a major U.S. airport will also be considered
