Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure application quality
Conduct data needs analysis and define data requirements to support testing processes
Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts to validate functionality
Perform performance testing to assess application scalability and reliability under load
Test full-stack technologies, including front-end, back-end, and database layers
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand application requirements and resolve defects
Document and report test results, identifying issues and recommending improvements
Support ongoing enhancement of the testing framework and tools to improve efficiency and coverage
Ensure Compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle
Qualification
Required
3 - 5+ years working experience in a Quality Assurance role
Write and execute functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
Experience with QA test automation to automate test cases for regression testing, functional testing, smoke testing(REST API's)
Communicate with developers collaboratively on identified defects and system issues
Leverage Azure DevOps (ADO) system for managing and documenting defects to resolution
Create QA release documentation after formal testing is complete (implementation notes, outstanding defects)
Assist with the creation of test data for executing test scripts
Preferred
Proven experience in performance testing and full-stack application testing
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing
Experience with data analysis, data definition, and database testing
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) for writing automated test scripts
Proficiency with test automation technologies such as Ruby, Cucumber, Solenium, REST Assured, TestNG
Experience working within Microsoft Azure ecosystem
Integration of test cycles within Azure DevOps pipelines
Experience with Enterprise Integration (EI) and API technologies: EI Platforms (e.g. Azure API Gateway, Mulesoft, Apigee, Postman)
Experience working with Linux OS and Application/Web Server technologies
Experience reading and understanding Java code
