Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for Dynamics 365 Field Service implementations
Run discovery and design workshops with business stakeholders (service operations, dispatch, field tech leadership)
Translate requirements into solution design across:
Work Orders, Agreements, Customer Assets
Schedule Board / dispatch workflows
Field Service Mobile configuration (including offline scenarios)
Inspections and service execution standardization
Define integration approach across enterprise systems (ERP, asset systems, portals, contact center tools)
Design security model, role structure, and governance aligned to operational reality
Establish delivery standards including:
Environment strategy
ALM / DevOps processes
Performance and scalability guardrails
Partner with developers/consultants/admins to ensure design is executed cleanly
Support testing strategy, UAT, go-live readiness, and post-go-live optimization
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Dynamics 365 / Power Platform delivery roles
3+ years hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Field Service
Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect / Lead Functional Architect
Strong understanding of Field Service operational processes: dispatching & scheduling, SLAs and prioritization logic, mobile execution, offline workflows, asset/service history tracking
Strong communication skills — able to lead workshops and influence stakeholders
Experience designing integrations using Dataverse + APIs / middleware / Azure patterns
Preferred
Experience with RSO (Resource Scheduling Optimization)
Experience with Inspections, IoT / Connected Field Service, or advanced asset hierarchies
Microsoft certifications: MB-240, PL-200 / PL-400 / PL-600, Azure fundamentals or architecture certs
