East Coast Warehouse & Distribution is seeking a Billing Specialist responsible for overseeing the invoicing and billing process for all customers. The role involves verifying details related to warehouse and transportation orders, communicating with customers, and ensuring accurate billing totals.

Assume the responsibility of processing all daily bills ready for invoicing

Verify correct customer bill rating for accurate bill totals

Verify pieces, weight, handling, fuel surcharges, etc

Process and post bills, and export to GP daily

Check daily and weekly FSC charts for accurate customer charges

Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients

Qualification

Overseeing the invoicing and billing process for all customers

Verifying all details pertaining to warehouse, TL and LTL orders

Communicating with customers to obtain approval of additional charges, changes, etc. prior to final calculation of bill totals

Processing all daily bills ready for invoicing

Verifying correct customer bill rating for accurate bill totals

Verifying pieces, weight, handling, fuel surcharges, etc

Processing and posting bills, and exporting to GP daily

Checking daily and weekly FSC charts for accurate customer charges

Providing solutions to any relative problems of clients

Preferred

Proven experience as Billing Specialist

Adherence to laws and best practices regarding dealing with customers and data

Comfortable with numbers and the processing of financial information

Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and willingness to learn new billing related software applications as they become available

Proficiency in English

Results-driven and patient

High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
