Facilities Assets Manager
NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies, and they are seeking a Facilities Asset Manager to lead asset management data, workflows, and reporting within Operations & Technology. This role oversees facilities systems best practices and partners with various teams to support asset management through the company’s Integrated Workplace Management System.

Responsibilities
Manage NBCUniversal’s Strategic Asset Management program, including asset standards, data governance, preventive maintenance programs, and operational activation of new projects from construction to operations
Maintain the asset database within the Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS/CMMS), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and lifecycle management from planning through decommissioning
Enforce asset data governance standards (e.g., ISO 55000), maintain metadata and naming conventions, and lead audits to ensure compliance with internal, regulatory, and safety standards
Partner with Operations, Capital Planning, Construction, Engineering, and Finance teams across NBCU sites to support asset information accuracy, PM effectiveness, and long-range planning initiatives
Support teams with onboarding new sites and establishing asset management standards and processes
Develop asset inventories, commissioning, tagging, SOPs, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality and value of the asset management program
Maintain preventive maintenance programs, critical equipment reporting, and asset performance trends; identify risks, escalate issues, and support asset refresh and deferred maintenance prioritization
Support capital planning and reinvestment decisions through analysis of Facility Condition Assessments (FCA), historical work order data, and asset performance metrics
Assist teams with CMMS/IWMS configuration, reporting, dashboards, user access, training, and system enhancements
Inventory equipment in the field while working to continuously improve the quality and completeness of the asset management program
Qualification
Required
3+ years facilities management experience
1+ years of experience facilities operations and engineering
1+ years of experience CMMS systems
Facilities Data Guru - You have a good understanding of Facilities systems, assets and operations and are meticulous about data quality and completeness
Project Wrangler – You know how to get what you need from a diverse fast past project development/ and operations teams. You wrangle the right people at the right time to get Asset information for the program
Executer – You get things done! Using strong business acumen, inciteful analytical skills, and superior organizational skills you manage through competing priorities within a matrixed environment
Leadership- You are a proven leader known to challenge the status quo, introduce new and better ways of delivering results, and make difficult decisions and lead through change. You lead teams of professionals by mentoring and developing; you help them reach their full potential
Communicates with ease – You have a way with words; written and verbal
Tech-savvy – You are an MS Office whiz and can take on new software with ease
Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite
Preferred
5+ years of experience working with CMMS systems preferred. (Archibus, Maximo, etc.)
Entertainment facilities knowledge and experience
Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees and management, and willingness to give assistance to co-workers in other areas
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) a plus
Proven ability to manage data governance, reporting, and system integrations
Strong team player
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Strong time management skills, multi-tasking, and being flexible
Experience managing in a union environment
