Responsibilities

Support senior management with the origination, underwriting, structuring, and execution of credit opportunities in the infrastructure and energy sectors
Build financial models with cash flow projections to assess debt capacity, covenant buffers, repayment risk and collateral coverage with sensitivity and scenario analysis, and DCF valuations and comps
Structure and draft term sheets
Negotiate legal documents including credit agreements and intercreditor agreements with counsel
Assess key credit risks and mitigants by analyzing engineering, market and environmental research reports
Prepare investment commitment memos and credit proposals to present to senior management and control functions including credit risk management
Run Key-Performance-Indicator (KPI) calculations, including Return on Risk Weighted Assets and Return on Equity, to determine profitability of trades
Screen new deals in the energy and infrastructure sectors to identify potential structured debt solutions including bespoke non-recourse projects and corporate debt opportunities
Monitor and perform risk management of debt portfolio to manage deal syndication, derisking with insurance, and executing amendments

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent
three (3) years of experience structuring credit opportunities in the energy and infrastructure sectors
building financial models with cash flow projections to assess debt capacity, covenant buffers, repayment risk and collateral coverage with sensitivity and scenario analysis, and DCF valuations and comps
structuring and drafting term sheets
