Responsibilities
Define, document and evolve enterprise network security architecture principles and design patterns
Lead conceptual design across on-prem, cloud, hybrid, and subsidiary environments
Drive architectural improvements including segmentation, Zero Trust, and secure connectivity
Provide guidance and reviews as part of the Network Security Architecture CoE in partnership with other cybersecurity and IT leadership and experts
Evaluate and recommend network security technologies (firewalls, SASE/SSE, NDR, etc.)
Integrate AI-driven security capabilities (e.g., MLbased NDR/IDS/IPS, behavioral analytics, anomaly detection) into network security architectures
Assess and mitigate risks associated with AI/ML usage across the enterprise, including data exposure, model security, and LLMdriven workflows
Align architectures with threat intelligence, regulatory requirements, and enterprise risk profiles
Partner with subsidiary BISOs, subsidiary stakeholders and other security leadership teams to ensure secure and operable network security architectures
Influence without authority and communicates effectively, presenting well thought out architectural recommendations to technical stakeholders and senior leadership
Qualification
Required
10+ years network cybersecurity architecture expertise
Expertise in routing, switching, cloud networking, and enterprise protocols
Hands-on Zero Trust, hybrid/multi-cloud, and inter-company connectivity design experience
Experience in federated and/or multi-entity organizations
Familiarity of NIST CSF, ISO 27002, CIS frameworks
Familiarity with AI‑enhanced security technologies (e.g., ML-based NDR/EDR, AI‑driven traffic analysis, automated threat modeling tools)
Experience evaluating emerging AI‑powered capabilities in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) from a network security perspective
Ability to mentor other technologists and influence without authority
Experience with leading network and security platforms such as Palo Alto, Zscaler, Infoblox, Cisco, F5, Cloudflare/Akamai, NSX, or comparable equivalent technologies
Preferred
PCI-DSS experience preferred
Professional certifications (CISSP or equivalent) are preferred
