Responsibilities

Develop relationships with transportation providers to maximize penetration of customer freight portfolio through soliciting capacity
Leads small group of SMA's as a mentor. Supports all parties with carrier related issues as needed. Staffing performance management and development of SMAs to ensure established performance goals within the team
Tenders accept/reject loads, creates loads, sets appointments, dispatches, tracks and traces loads, root cause problem solves issues, and resolves/communicates to carrier and/or customer as appropriate
Negotiate rates with transportation providers to ensure that margins are achieved for commission targets and account goals
Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling of coverage for loads to ensure proper all customer's needs are met in the agreed upon time period
Continuous improvement in all segments of the business
Schedules and dispatches while ensuring compliance of Federal, State, and Local regulations. Responsible for timely updating of load statuses to the TMS
Maintain a positive employee related climate and maintain a customer satisfaction index at a World Class Level while having availability 24/7/365 for responsibilities

3 years or more in Business related experience
