Controls Engineer – Industrial Manufacturing
Kane Partners LLC is an established U.S. manufacturer that produces high-volume consumer products in a highly automated plant environment. They are seeking a Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, repair, improve, and support a wide range of electrical and control systems, while working closely with production and maintenance to enhance process flow and reduce downtime.

Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, drives, motors, and control panels
Programming and modifying PLC and HMI logic as needed
Supporting both preventive maintenance and emergency breakdowns
Working closely with production and maintenance to improve process flow and reduce downtime
Assisting with equipment shutdowns, startups, and upgrades
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control drawings
Helping track uptime, downtime, and efficiency data
Identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
3–5 years of hands-on PLC and HMI programming experience
Experience with at least two PLC platforms and two HMI platforms (Allen Bradley, Siemens, RSLogix, Mitsubishi, etc)
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and understanding of cause-and-effect logic
Comfortable working independently in a plant environment
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation when needed
